When Goody (Silverstone) was turned into a vampire by Queen Ciccerus (Sigourney Weaver) in 1841, she felt extremely alone and struggled to meet new people until, in 1990, Stacy (Ritter) was turned and Goody found a new friend. As Goody sees the opportunity to pass on her tricks of the trade, Stacy finds herself falling for college student Joey (Dan Stevens). When she tells Goody that Joey's father is notorious vampire hunter Van Helsing (Wallace Shawn) she panics and tells her that under no circumstances can he discover her true identity.
