Publisher's Synopsis
As 1954 draws to an end, the village of Hen Carw Parc is changing. The post-war boom brings with it television sets and a lethargy which threatens the community spirit. Several of the inhabitants think of ways to revive the missing spirit, including entering the Best Kept Village competition.
