VCH Biblio is a bibliographic reference management system for anyone dealing on a daily basis with ′literature′ – that is, with published information, typically drawn from a variety of sources. VCH Biblio provides not only the usual database functions, but also a comprehensive set of tools for ′citation management′. This means facilities for linking bibliographic data with reference numbers in manuscripts, prepared on any of the popular word processors. A separate module, VCH Biblio Import, adds a further dimension by enabling the user to capture literature data directly from ASCII and dBase files, as well as from on–line or CD data bases (e.g., CAS ONLINE, MEDLINE).
