T is turning three hundred years old with little to show for it. In the future the earth's population is maintained at five hundred million at any given time. But advanced technology has rendered aging and dying mostly obsolete. One of the few ways to die is by becoming a contestant on the reality show, Social Audit, where when a person turns three hundred, they are eligible for an audit in order to prove that they are a worthy member of the otherwise perfect, elite society.
