Publisher's Synopsis
The Minerals Management Service mandated that offshore operations in the Gulf of Mexico participate in a monthly survey program for the year 2000, during which time the MMS will collect information regarding offshore operations. The purpose of these surveys is to assist the MMS in constructing an emission inventory for the Gulf of Mexico near the Breton National Wilderness Area. The MMS funded the development of the Breton Offshore Activities Data System software in order to assist offshore operators in complying with the MMS mandate.
