Publisher's Synopsis

This is a collection of poems which has been written in the state of severe depression, uncontrollable anxiety, never-ending self-doubt and an ocean of insecurities. People shouldn't feel ashamed, disregarded or belittled for suffering from mental health conditions. Suffering from a mental health condition shouldn't be seen as being any different to suffering from a physical illness. These poems should spark a serious conversation about mental health in our societies, and also give hope to those who are suffering that they are not alone and that they shouldn't have to suffer in silence/shame. There will be many people who can relate to the poems written and hopefully by sharing individual experiences, we can address and fight the various stigmas surrounding mental health.
