Publisher's Synopsis

Unscrew Humanity & Improve Capitalism reads like The Wealth of Nations mixed with Mad Magazine. In it author and mastermind Aaron R. Lema outlines his plans for the ideal economic path which he calls Humanatapilism, pronounced Hu-MAN-ah-TAP-il-ism. Humanatapilism is simply defined as, "improving our fellow human beings quality of life through free market capitalism." Lema goes on to explain how a person and companies can follow this economic theory, putting heavy stress on donation as a way of increasing our fellow human beings quality of life. Also included is a brief look at noted economists Karl Marx, John Maynard Keynes, and Adam Smith, that focuses on their respective "ism's" flaws. At roughly twenty eight pages this slim volume packs a lot of information, and the author is conscience of backing up his economic theory, a formula is even provided. Just as importantly though, it's fun to read. Most readers are not interested in books on economics, the author even makes a joke alluding to this fact. The enjoyment comes from a pervasive sense of humor throughout the text keeping the mood light; it's not uncommon to find words like butt-hurt and scumbag mixed in with the author's anecdotes. Sometimes though, humor may get in the way of the author's writing. It can be hard to take some of the author's subtler points seriously when hidden among jokes or audacious headlines. If readers can get past the occasional heavy-handed dose of humor they will benefit from an economic theory that is not only logical, but practical.
