Publisher's Synopsis
When first anything or anyone is presented to us it seems pretty, exciting and presentable like it's wrapped up in a bow. A new thing so beautiful in its appearance that we sometimes don't even realize that we're looking at it through rose colored glasses. But the truth is anything and anyone will eventually unravel, the bow will come off and reality strikes, then you see what really is underneath it all. We finally see the "flaws," see the things that the bow originally covered up, see the things that it was tightly keeping together, because eventually the truth will come out or the secrets will be revealed. This book of poetry is just that...an unhindered view of things and situations that don't have anything to hide behind. There shouldn't be any illusion or fake presentation masquerading as something else until you can take a closer look at it and see what it really is, if it even gives you that chance. When I wrote this collection of poetry I wanted to write from the heart without putting a nice and pretty bow on anything. This is my soul laid bare: the happiness, sadness and even what's going on in my imagination.
