Publisher's Synopsis

In 1995, Patrick Pacalo was left with little choice in terms of completing his Masters degree. He had been kept from completing his thesis on the Cold War. He had been pressured because of his extracurricular work with the Gay and Lesbian Alliance and LGBT of Youngstown State University. What resulted had little to do with the politics of those times and events. Pacalo was allowed to receive credits for the work done on his thesis under the realm of an independent study. He was required to complete some course work on European history in WWII under professor Martin Berger. What resulted are the papers you see here published on histories related to the Second World War. These papers show that history is indeed an unmanageable topic.
