UNDOCUMENTED is based on the true story of twelve-year-old Frank Lanc, a European immigrant, already working hard in the coal mines of Bohemia. In 1885, he devises a scheme that gets him to America carrying only a few coins in his pockets, along with his dream of creating a better life. In spite of his ever-present fear of being discovered and deported, his work ethic, courage, perseverance, and sense of humor, along with his love of music usher him into adulthood toward his goal of owning land and farming in Nebraska.
