Publisher's Synopsis
In the summer of 1715, a Spanish ship spilled a load of silver coins in the Caribbean Sea. The recovery effort was too over-burdened to carry it all back to Europe, so 350 thousand pieces of silver were left practically unguarded nearby on an unmapped island. The take was too tempting for Henry Jennings to pass up. Hoping to retire after recovering this bounty, Jennings assembled a crew including the legendary Black Bart, Stede Bonnet, and Edward Teach, better known to the world as Blackbeard. Recounted through Edward Teach's memoirs, this account documents their journey to the island and back, including their encounters with an undead menace they confront along the way. Not only must they figure out how to survive the creatures on the island, they must also survive each other.
