Publisher's Synopsis

Una is a patriot. This is her diary. She uses her many talents to serve her country in The First World War. Her courage shines through in the mainly male dominated war.

First and foremost she was a nurse on the Western Front. Here she also learnt to tunnel with Welsh miners before becoming a sniper using her superb eyesight and terrifying accuracy with a rifle. Thus she was a natural with a Lewis gun in the primitive aircraft of the Royal Flying Corps. She becomes a pilot and destroys a Zeppelin over London Docks.

She meets her future husband, Ronald Nesbitt and they, as a duo, attempt to destroy the Turkish rail network in the Middle East. Tragically he dies in her arms.

She is lucky and is rescued by a Sheik before The British Military Intelligence require her services. The chances of her survival is remote after she sets off on a secret mission to East Africa.
