The title story won first prize in the Fog Lit Books for Young People. The competition was for books for readers or listeners up to age 18 and was limited to less than 4,500 words. 'Two-Shot Lands in Trouble', is a beautifully written story with a witty and interesting protagonist -- a hungry black crow -- who uses his wits and imagination to solve his dilemma. 'Two-Shot Lands in Trouible, is clever, nicely paced, and threaded with lovely imagery. There is a wonderful lyrical quality to the writing, and overall it was a truly pleasurable read.
