My Thoughts. A man was made from dust by the hand of God in his own image. He then took a rib from man to create for us a companion-thus the woman. Woman was not created to be used or abused physically or emotionally. She is not to be treated like a rag dog or less equal than man. She is a gift from God, to be treated like a princess, to take care of, and to be man's equal-someone for us to love. This gift was given so that together as a couple we may walk beside each other as one with God and to love one another as we love ourselves. Love is giving more than we receive. Gary Gossett realized that God had a purpose and a plan for his life. He began to write poetry and spread the word of God. Gary did not graduate high school and has no college degree, but the love that he puts into his writing is an encouragement to many. Gary lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma and was blessed with three daughters, two stepsons, fifteen grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. He believes that God has a greater plan for all of us. All we have to do is listen to what He has to say and let Him do the talking.
