Publisher's Synopsis
The book is collection of dark satirical short stories independent of one another, some of the characters are satires of historical figures such as Josef Mengele, Jesus, etc, along with religious characters such as Satan, Lilith, God, etc. Many of the characters are deranged people with serious psychological issues such as Clyde Floyd an deranged and ruthless truck driver with an insatiable lust for miles he drives, needless to say he breaks alot of laws, Drunko Daniels who is a drunken redneck who hangs out with Bubba Floyd a rather unsavory character with some frightening similarities to his brother Clyde, Powdered wig man an extremely right wing loony with obsession with 17th/18th century paraphernalia who rides on horseback and slays those he sees as unworthy to live such as trans/homo sexuals, abortion lovers, Muslims, etc. The book as you may have gathered by this point is has some off the wall and rather bizarre story lines that include a redneck poaching run gone wrong and turns into a grotesque nightmare or party depending on your perspective, a man eating vagina from hell that invades a New Yorker's lawn and wreaks havoc and the world along with heaven and hell that only Jesus, some men at arms and abortion doctors can prevent from giving birth to the anti christ, a truck-stop run in a similar fashion to a medieval style catholic church complete with war declarations, torture, and witch hunts all of which happening around unlucky truck drivers due to the lack of overnight parking anywhere in the nearby vicinity. This is of course presents a satirical version of TAHT (Truckers Against Human Trafficking) and portrays them as crazed knights clad in steel, slaying lot lizards/monsters to protect the Arch Bishop and fellow Christian truck drivers. Whether loosely based on history or completely fabricated all of them have their similarities despite happening in different places/times; they all incorporate morbid and vulgar humor which can cause a strong emotional response that can consist of shock/repulsion and laughter/jolliness (Either at the same time or in an orderly succession in which the order depends on the reader.) To be frank this book is not for the faint of heart or those who offend easily, but rather the reader who wants something different and enjoys literary madness with no regard for literary norms whatsoever, so leave your expectations behind and start fresh with Twisted Story Asylum!
