Publisher's Synopsis
Raphael, a university professor, has gone to a sanatorium in the eastern United States in order to seek out his faith and the truth about a hero of his youth, Pedro. Later, Pedro appears on the scene and begins to look after him and tries to locate various members of Raphael's family.
