Turner syndrome, a condition that affects only females, results when one of the X chromosomes (sex chromosomes) is missing or partially missing. Turner syndrome can cause a variety of medical and developmental problems, including short height, failure of the ovaries to develop, and heart defects.
This book is storytelling about a girl who found out she has a form of Turner syndrome when she was 16. It was difficult to see how anything positive was going to come out of the new journey she was faced with. The journey has not always been easy but, through everything, she has become a stronger person and learned a lot.
