Amaranaca is in chaos. The tyrant Remuln sits on a stolen throne with the king and queen held captive, and the prince is nowhere to be found. Tura Saurbrook hails from the small town of Harth, far removed from the likes of Remuln, royalty, or intrigues of state. Tragedy forces Tura from her home, propelling her headlong towards her destiny. Along the way, she meets two unlikely elves who are on a quest of their own to find the Rebel army formed to overthrown Remuln's rule. Should Tura join them in their quest and abandon her own? Or can it be that their goals are more similar than she thought?
