This book contains seven chapters, each of which provides information about tumours of the central nervous system. Chapter One reviews the clinical, pathological, molecular and prognostic features of Embryonal Tumour with Multi-layered Rosettes (EMTR). Chapter Two reviews the clinicopathologic features and differential diagnoses of Dysembryoplastic neuroepithelial tumour (DNET), a rare low grade glioneuronal neoplasm which mostly affects the temporal lobe. Chapter Three reviews the clinical and pathologic features of Rosai-Dorfman disease (RDD), a rare, benign, idiopathic lymphohistiocytic proliferative disease. Chapter Four reviews the clinical and pathologic features of the rare central nervous system neoplasm called angiocentric gliomas. Chapter Five reviews the histological and clinical features of chordoid gliomas, rare neoplasms of the central nervous system. Chapter Six provides a clinicopathologic review of dysplastic cerebellar gangliocytomas, also known as Lhermitte-Duclos disease. Finally, Chapter Seven reviews the clinicopathologic features of cerebellar liponeurocytoma, a rare cerebellar tumour which is marked by admixed neurocytic and lipoma-like components.
