As her friends are brutally attacked, one by one, Red is assigned to investigate. At the same time, Gina reenters her life, dangerously distracting Red as she tracks the relentless murderer. When Red realizes that she herself is the psychopath's ultimate prize, she fears she won't live long enough to enjoy her second chance at love. She must overcome terror, find her courage, and do mortal combat with the most vicious, elusive enemy of her long career.
