Publisher's Synopsis
This Roger Corman production, with a script by Jack Nicholson, looks at the apparent 'curative' properties of LSD. TV commercial director Paul (Peter Fonda) is feeling the strain both at home and work. He consults a guru (Bruce Dern) who suggests Paul should take acid. This he does, and after a 'mind-blowing' trip (including attending his own funeral and making love to a beautiful woman) Paul feels he can start his life afresh. This film claims to show what an acid-trip is like (and rumour has it the Corman took acid while making the film) but the final scene, added without Corman's permission, suggests that Paul's mind has been adversely affected by the drug.
