Among the some 240 notable examples from the collection included in this tiny tour are paintings from the eighteenth century by Gilbert Stuart and John Singleton Copley; from the nineteenth century by Thomas Eakins, Winslow Homer, James McNeill Whistler, John Singer Sargent, and F. Childe Hassam; and from the early twentieth century by John Sloan, Georgia O'Keeffe, Jackson Pollock, and Andrew Wyeth; and contemporary works by Frank Stella, Sol Lewitt, and Brice Marden. Also featured here are images from such masters of photography as Walker Evans, Eadward Muybridge, Berenice Abbott, and Robert Frank.
