Publisher's Synopsis
"Geary is a master." - Francoise Durer NEW ORLEANS RHAPSODY is a Southern collection of four novels that depict the lives of the people who live in the Garden District of New Orleans. In the order they were written, these include: A SCENT OF MAGNOLIAS, A SEPARATE COUNTRY, A TEAR ON THE WATER, and TREASURE OF MAN. In TREASURE OF MAN, a brass plate is found behind an old light switch in a Garden District mansion that is being restored. After due reflection, it is believed the numbers engraved on the plate are a nautical bearing and, during a cold week in January, a granite box is found on the ocean floor just off of Key West. Once back in New Orleans, the stone box gives up its secrets slowly. And well it should. The contents can change the course of man. They can also lead to his extinction. Jimmy Croft and the other principals in the novel must decide what is to be done. TREASURE OF MAN- COLOR EDITION contains the same text as previous editions but comes with a different cover. The novel contains explicit sexual scenes and is intended only for mature adults
