Publisher's Synopsis
Pat O'Hara originates from a clan of Irish-American travellers, but has been ostracised from their nomadic society due to the fact that his father married an outsider. At his father's funeral, Pat decides that he wants to be accepted back into the community, and is taken under the wing of conman traveller Bokky Sherlock. Bokky teaches Pat the tricks of the trade, but when Pat falls in love he has to choose whether he wants to continue his new lifestyle. This was Oscar winning cinematographer Jack Green's directorial debut.
