When they agreed to take a job in the peaceful mountain village of Bethel, Maine, Bridgett, and her husband Drew expected a relaxing and fun wintery experience. However, those wonderful thoughts vanish quickly when bodies are discovered in the same inn as their new job.
The murders rock the small village and threaten to put the inn out of business. The sheriff's department covering the town is undermanned and has no interest in her thoughts on the murders, so Bridgett decides to run her own investigation. Recruiting a group of older but feisty local women to aide her, Bridgett makes an incredible and important discovery overlooked by the local authorities, but unknown to her that discovery draw the attention of two separate killers each with their own agenda.
As she races to find the evidence she needs to make her case, more bodies are discovered at the inn. With the killers closing in, Bridgett devises a desperate plan to trap them, but if it fails she will be the next victim discovered at the inn.
