Publisher's Synopsis
Pete Ferry is driving home when a car, swerving dangerously on the road, overtakes him. The driver is a beautiful woman, half-naked - something's clearly not right. Cautiously, he follows her. What should he do? Then, at the traffic light, he's next to her car. He must act now - but he hesitates, the lights change and her car lurches forward straight into a tree, killing her instantly... In Chicago, Pete tells this story to the students in his class where he teaches. But, is this just an elaborate tale which illustrates the power of storytelling? Or did this actually happen?
