Excerpt from Transactions of the Literary and Historical Society of Quebec: Sessions of 1878
The Council of the Literary and Historical Society of Quebec have the honor to report to the members of the Society that, since the last annual general meeting there has been the following change in and addition to the mem bers of the Society.
They have to announce with regret their loss by death of one honorary member, Dr. T. W. Bligh, and two associate members, Mr. W. Crawford and Mr. Isaac Drum.
On the other hand, three honorary members - men of distinguished merit - hare been unanimously elected, and thirty-six new names have been added to the list of asso ciate members.
