Publisher's Synopsis
After the Baxter Springs bank is robbed, a bloody shootout between the thieves and the town's lawmen leaves only one bandit alive - Charlie Weston, who has escaped with the haul. Marshal Pete Baker and Deputy Joe Flaherty, already under threat of losing their badges, strike a bargain with Mayor Dell: they will track down Weston and the money within two months. If they fail, they'll resign. As Weston falls in with a wagon train heading west, the pursuit begins...
