Publisher's Synopsis
The Volpe National Transportation Systems Center's Automation Applications Division (DTS-56)is developing and implementing the FAA's enhanced Traffic Management System as one component of ongoing research and development to improve FAA Air Traffic Control through the Advanced Traffic Management system. The Volpe Center developed 2 hours of computer-based instruction for the Traffic Situation Display on the FAA's computer-managed instruction compliant workstation and a supplementary "field site training program. The authors' findings and recommendations are discussed.
