Publisher's Synopsis
Separated young sisters are growing up in the same city, Bombay, unbeknownst to each other; the older in a carpet factory and the younger in an orphanage with no memory of her sibling, dreaming of a real family. Her dreams come true with the arrival of a Spanish couple. Meanwhile, eight-year-old Solomon is living through an Ethiopan revolution when he decides to pursue an education in Cuba. After many wanderings across three continents, during which the three characters' paths cross repeatedly, they each find their purpose in life and their 'real' family.
