The young Berlin landscape design office, Topotek 1, has become particularly famous through their latest works - from dynamically designed parks in Eberswalde and Wolfsburg, a University campus in Halle to the colourful spatial designs of the DVK insurance building in Berlin-Kreuzberg.Numerous pictures of these beautifully designed structures and spaces show a means to a better designed urban landscape. It got the 2003 Award, German Architecture Prize with Gernot Schulz Architekten, Cologne. It was also awarded the German Prize for Urban Design der SEB AG with Gernot Schulz Architekten, Cologne.
