During his childhood, he often played with boats and swam along the riverbanks, so his impression of the river was profound. Most of his writings were inspired by the Mississippi River; this book, "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer," is also set against the backdrop of the Mississippi River. The story of this book is almost like Mark Twain's real childhood experiences, hence it exudes an adventurous spirit and kindness throughout.
