Publisher's Synopsis
Mark is a young man leaving university; you follow him in his job search. Carol has been his girlfriend since primary school, and they are happy. John, his father, is a widower. Mark misses his mother and is pleased his father has found Denise his new love; he also likes her. You meet and keep company with his friends and see his life change. He is not too different from you and me. He helps his friend Diane work with a homicide detective to solve several murders. Mark thinks that Diane has feelings for him and wonders how he feels about her. He has his share of girlfriend trouble; his perfect life starts to break down. Though unwilling to argue with Carol, Mark waits for a better time for them to work things out. He has always been able to converse with those his senior at university and in the workforce. Mark is a level-headed young man who shows and also can get on top of those personal problems that plague us all. But he has to use all his problem-solving skills when facing unexpected happenings at his new job, and living away from home creates its own set of troubles.
