Publisher's Synopsis
Charlie can't wait to spend another carefree summer writing poetry at her family's cabin by the lake. It's her favorite place in the world- a place she doesn't have to interact with anyone, and she can be her quiet, introverted self. So when the cute son of her mom's high school friend invades her safe place for two weeks, she isn't very friendly or welcoming. In fact, she purposely finds things to not like about him because she knows if she doesn't keep him at a distance, she'll end up liking him too much. And no one as hot as Axyl Stewart would fall for a skinny tomboy like her anyway. Unfortunately, Axyl has other plans. He's determined to break through Charlie's barriers and make her his friend no matter how difficult she is. Join Charlie, Axyl and Brant on their two week adventure of self-discovery where they learn that no one is as perfect as they appear and friendship is worth working for.
