A lifelong educator with almost four decades of service as a university professor and administrator, Dr. Quentin Newhouse, Jr. reinvented himself in 2012 by becoming an internationally certified Executive Coach and Core Energy Performance Dynamics Specialist. Writing poems since he was 14, Dr. Newhouse is an accomplished author with chapters in numerous books, two spiritual poem books, a book about a sick, rescued cat, poems in the Anthology of the Montreal Branch (2012, 2013), Canadian Authors Association, and Temple News (Monthly Magazine of Temple Baptist Church). Dr. Newhouse Is currently editing a two volume book of 40 men's accounts of how they made it to manhood. Dr. Newhouse has owned three businesses, including his present position as President of Q Newhouse Structured Coaching Strategies, Inc. (Canada). Dr. Newhouse has accumulated more than 800 coaching hours with more than 60 individual and corporate clients in the U.S., Canada, Australia, and Thailand and conducts workshops, teleconferences, and symposia. Dr. Newhouse has received awards such as Who's Who in America, Stanford's Who's Who, Who's Who in Black America and Outstanding Young Men of America (twice). Dr. Newhouse completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Experimental Social Psychology, Master of Science in General Experimental Psychology, both from Howard University (DC), and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Marietta College (OH). Dr. Newhouse has also completed sufficient graduate hours in business administration, teaching business classes to undergraduate and graduate students. Dr. Newhouse is an avid reader and loves to play online and live Scrabble. He lives in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, with his wife and 2 step-children. Dr. Newhouse has an adult daughter who lives in the northeastern US.
