Julie Carlson suspects her husband is having an affair and hires private detective Mac McQuarry. Mac knows Julia's husband--he was involved in Mac's dismissal from the Charleston police force. But the case turns violent, with Julie as the target. Now they're on the run, with no one to trust but each other.
