Publisher's Synopsis
Set in a medieval-like world called Kimbria after the indigenous Kimbrii people who live there, "Tiyo" tells the story of characters in the epic fantasy novel "Ansgar: The Struggle of a People. The Triumph of the Heart." (Part I of the Windflower Saga trilogy) from the view of a herding dog. Tiyo's friend Dara, another herding dog, is missing. With his owner, a young Kimbrii clan chief named Keholani, he searches for Dara in a cavern. In the process they find a stranger, a young man named Ansgar, who has fallen into the cavern and is injured and needs help. Ansgar has come to help the Kimbrii people, and Tiyo is very happy that he helped to save him and to bring Dara and her puppies back to the village. The story celebrates friendship, courage, and a helping attitude towards others.
