The purpose of this teaching tool, Doors of the Mind, is to aid the body of Christ in exposing doors that are open to negative influences. Negative forces in the form of thoughts and past memories can be harmful and even destructive. Thoughts are more powerful than we first believed, producing mood swings, uncontrollable rage, and other emotional disorders. Unless the mind is renewed, negative thoughts can produce negative demeanors resulting in broken relationships, loss of careers, and long term medical disorders. Unforgiveness is a major contributor to mental illness and other social disorders. Research shows that around 87% of illnesses can be attributed to our thought life, and approximately 13% to diet, genetics, and environment.
