The future and freedom of the human race, as it is recorded in the Heart of Earth Stone, is about to be changed by the Dark Lord - a high priest and black magician from an alien race known as "the Barcorrus," mankind's ancient foe. Her mission is to stop the Dark Lord from altering the future of humanity in favour of the agenda of his own race, which seeks to enslave and farm humankind as a food source for as long as the Earth exists, beyond Liberation Day, in the 22nd century, when the Saviour races from Pola Tis and Siton rescue mankind from their alien captors' clutches for the second time in human history - the first time being in the ancient days of old Atlantis. Ley Ankar works closely with Seph Byron - a brilliant human scientist of her own century, and has the help of the inter-dimensional, inter-planetary super-beings who call themselves the "Tribe of Orthus, as well as Liros, Lord of the oceans himself, and his daughters - the beautiful Sirens." She must first locate the Dark Lord's lair, hidden by magic in the perpetual fogs of the Valley of Doom, in the Land of Dark Days, in the vast wastelands of Zan Karyon, where savage Mutants and primordial beasts rule.
