Publisher's Synopsis
TIMBOT is a revival of one of Elisavietta Ritchie's first books. Illustrated in 1970 by Natalie Babbitt (author of Tuck Everlasting), this little book is deserving of new attention. Described as "a sort of novella in verse" TIMBOT tells of a Circassian refugee from the Caucasus mountains employed as overseer on a large New England estate, and a visiting American of Russian lineage.
