Twenty years ago, Dominic Shaw was a senior in high school and the best football player in East Texas. On the precipice of a state championship, he fled the small town of Tate. Everyone from his teammates to his family viewed this as a complete betrayal. In a community that lived and breathed football, Dom had cost them their best chance at football immortality. Now unemployed and desperate, he's forced to return home to face his demons. His former head coach offers him forgiveness and a chance at redemption, coaching linebackers for the Tate Timberwolf football team, and Dom thinks that his fortunes might finally be improving. However, not long after his arrival, a series of gruesome murders and unexplained phenomena shake the town to its core.
