Bevan is a solitary soul. After a failed relationship with a woman known only as her, he wants nothing more from the world other than to be left alone. That's exactly what happens, though, after a brief encounter at the local supermarket with a checkout chick called Claire.
Set in the Victorian high country, Timber Floats is an intimate and gritty portrayal of a year in the life of two emotionally displaced individuals who find themselves living off the grid and on the edge of society, sanity, and maybe even some sort of spiritual awakening.
