Publisher's Synopsis
The power has gone out. Out in the middle of nowhere, stranded on their large, ancient acreage with only her brother, Jane is faced with a terrible set of events. Tim and Jane have gone through some unfortunate endeavors, leaving them scarred and horrified of the outside world. When the lights go out, and Jane begins to feel the freezing air hit her toes, she must go out with her brother in order to restore the power. As the night progresses, however, the strange events begin to increase. Alone, the two twin siblings accept a difficult task and begin to make their way out to the small, freezing shed to restore the power. Jane, responsible and reliable, is determined on staying with her brother at all times and following her parent's long time rules. Jane partakes on a strange adventure, during a time she least expects, and is suddenly met with moments of fear, disgust, and the paranormal. Question is; why is the power out? Jane never thinks to ask.
