Tilly Trotter seems finally to have found lasting happiness in her engagement to Steve McGrath, but her son, Willy, is refusing to acknowledge the existence of his newborn illegitimate child, and her adopted daughter Josefina has slipped into a deep depression after tracking down her real family in America.
