FIRST EDITIONS, 73 and 83 wood-engravings by Agnes Miller-Parker respectively, a number full-page, pp. 142; 150, 4to, original brown and blue cloth respectively, backstrips lettered in gilt, top edges a little dusty with some very faint spotting to edges and endpapers, first volume with contemporary ownership inscription of Barbara Bagenal (see below), vertical crease to rear free endpaper of first volume, dustjackets, that to first volume a little torn and tatty,that to second volume the second issue (carrying quote by Eric Gill), backstrip panel gently sunned and the rear panel faintly foxed, very good
