Publisher's Synopsis
In order to get to Hilda, Asher, Skadi, and Troels must do whatever it takes to get through the Shadow Land. Gustov embarks on an important quest, in Shadow Land, when Karlson visits him at the Raven's Nest. To save both the kingdom and her own head, Tora must learn the difference between friends and allies. In Bilskirnir, Bjorn Banderson and his troops cause havoc, forcing Lord Jensen to strategize carefully. Even when the odds seem insurmountable, the heroes are determined to press forward and complete the mission, no matter the cost. Despite their courage and resolve, the heroes are not prepared for the dangers that lie ahead. With strong enemies around every corner, they must rely on their wits and strength to make it through alive.
