Publisher's Synopsis
Don Beckhart and Ray Keller work for Saul Narracott's publishing firm. When they lose their jobs, it's the beginning of a chain of events that couldn't be more different from Beckhart's routine life as a publisher's rep. Once, on a shared motoring holiday, Keller had saved Beckhart's life. But now Beckhart loses touch with him and after an uncomfortable interview with Narracott, he's warned to stop asking questions about the firm. A search for stolen money brings Beckhart into danger and a mysterious encounter in a French forest.
