Thomas is visiting his grandpa today, and he couldn't be more excited. In the woods, he learns all about birds, trees, nature, and fascinating animals from around the world. But there's one species Grandpa mentions that Thomas can't stop thinking about; Tree Monsters. Grandpa says they are nocturnal, that they creak and moan in the night, and that he should never get too close to them - or they might charge! Desperate to see one of these creatures, Thomas embarks on an exciting adventure, witnessing the wonderful, frightening, and sometimes tragic beauty of nature.
