Trish Ahjel Roberts is a self-actualization coach, yoga and meditation instructor, reiki practitioner, plant-based retreat organizer and founder of Mind-Blowing Happiness LLC and Black Vegan Life(TM). She was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and attended Stuyvesant High School in Manhattan. She holds a bachelor's degree from the Metropolitan College of New York and an MBA from Long Island University. After years of working as a financial advisor with many unhappy, but wealthy, clients, she quit her corporate job to share her 12-step approach to a self-actualized life. She is the author of three self-help books: the e-book, Mind-Blowing Happiness(TM) Guide to Self-Care; the self-help memoir, Thinking Outside the Chrysalis: A Black Woman's Guide to Spreading Her Wings; and the inspirational journal, 12 Steps to Mind-Blowing Happiness: A Journal of Insights, Quotes & Questions to Juice Up Your Journey. She is also the author of the #sexyfunnysmart romantic drama, Chocolate Soufflé. She has over a decade of Buddhist study at Kadampa Meditation Center in Atlanta, GA and twenty years of yoga experience.
