Would you like to hear stories told by people who lived when Jesus was living on the earth? This book contains tales that have never before been told the way they are told by the characters you are about to meet. Most of these people are mentioned in Bible stories, however, they did not get the chance to tell their stories. For about two thousand years their stories have been resting silently with them, without having the opportunity to be told. They have been preserved by the Holy Spirit for hundreds of years and although they are old, they have a fresh, exciting message. I am sharing them with you now to honor Jesus, and to bless those who read and hear. These stories, as I have been able to write them, are not complete. Your input will be appreciated. It has been an exciting work of devotion for me as the Holy Spirit has worked in and through me to do something that was definitely above my pay grade. I have been greatly rewarded and blessed as He has given me life and strength to continue the task when it was not easy. As I have repeatedly listened to eye-witness accounts of the suffering and death of Jesus, I have had to deal with the lingering question, "Why did it have to be?" Often, in my sleep that question has screamed at me. Amazingly, many of the characters featured in this volume met Jesus and knew him. Even more amazing and fascinating is that many of them witnessed his ministry, his life, his death, and his resurrection. Many of them were present for Pentecost and were filled with power to go out and work at the commission which he gave them. Many of them were put to death for him. All of them were committed to giving their lives for his cause. Writing this book has changed my life and I believe that it will change yours.
